Only if I'm good at this. We’re all looking for ways to shine. Websites should be a place to do just that. But getting it right isn’t easy – and these days you only have a few seconds to engage readers before they click somewhere else.

ABOUT ME

Qualified in Geophysics and Science Communication, I have worked in Science Writing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications across multiple sectors. I’ve written video scripts for multinational energy companies, exhibition text for the Edinburgh International Science Festival, and co-ordinated photo shoots in central London with a range of personalities from celebrities to live goats and sheep. I led VisitScotland’s PR effort behind the crane-in of a replica Victorian railway carriage to the old station in Ballater, Royal Deeside, a suggestion made by HRH Prince Charles.

Lately my writing has focused on catchment management planning in the Cairngorms National Park amidst the linked crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, while other recent projects include the re-opening of the triple AA rosette award-winning Douneside House, and the picturesque glamping destination in Rosehearty, Down on the Farm. I’m based in Aberdeenshire, but have worked with clients across Scotland and am happy to travel to work with you in person, or remotely online.
